Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in retail settings. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of Mall Common area, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment, adhering to safety standards.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Maintain floor care by cleaning carpets, hardwood floors, tiles, and applying appropriate floor cleaning techniques.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required.
- Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture or large items while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality.
- Ensure all cleaning surfaces are sanitized according to health standards and maintain the overall cleanliness of the residence.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, carpet cleaners, buffers, and janitorial tools.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or hotel environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, dusting, and surface sanitation.
- Experience using different types of cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of manual handling practices for heavy lifting tasks combined with outdoor work experience is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in fast-paced settings.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
