At P.O.P. Manufacturing, we build the retail displays and store fixtures you see in major stores nationwide. No two projects are the same — our shop produces one-of-a-kind prototypes that bring our clients' concepts to life before going into full production. If you're a skilled woodworker who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building things that actually end up on store shelves, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Fabricate prototypes and one-off display pieces from client drawings, samples, or concept sketches
- Construct and assemble cabinets, fixtures, and retail display structures to precise specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood and composite materials using power and hand tools
- Work with a variety of materials including hardwoods, laminates, MDF, and hardware components
- Install hardware including hinges, handles, fasteners, and specialty fittings
- Apply finishes including paint, stain, and varnish to completed pieces
- Collaborate closely with a small, tight-knit team to meet project deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on cabinet making, woodworking, or finish carpentry experience — this is a requirement
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfort working with varied materials and adapting methods to non-standard builds
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- A self-starter mindset — prototype work requires problem-solving on the fly

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy materials
