Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC Machine Shop Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the CNC machine shop, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
- Oversee production planning utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to ensure timely delivery of quality parts while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards throughout the machining process, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to analyze supply chain analytics, streamline procurement, and optimize inventory levels for seamless operations.
- Manage plant operations by fostering a safety-first environment, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team by providing training in mechanical knowledge, process improvement techniques, and operational best practices.
- Utilize manufacturing software such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to track production metrics, analyze data for continuous improvement, and support strategic decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, specifically overseeing CNC machining or similar operations.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly, mechanical systems, and process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise software; experience with supply chain analytics is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in plant management with a focus on operations management, production planning, and supply chain management.
- Mechanical knowledge that supports troubleshooting machine issues, implementing process improvements, and maintaining equipment reliability.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
