What You’ll Do
As a Shift Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading the team during your shift while ensuring excellent food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and motivate team members throughout each shift.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Ensure food is prepared according to Zaytoon recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including rice, hummus, falafel, and other menu items as needed.
- Jump into any station—including cashier, prep, grill, or line—to support the team during busy periods.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Coach team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor shift performance and communicate operational issues to management.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Has leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not required).
- Leads by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicates well with both guests and team members.
- Is dependable, organized, and accountable.
- Is available to work evenings and weekends.
