Makua Banana Bread Co. is a family run business started on Oahu in 2020. We are in pursuit of baking the perfect banana bread loaf.
We are looking for a highly energetic and dedicated individual to join our growing team and support our retail location in Haleiwa.
Our new teammate will be the face of Makua Banana Bread at our cafe and will be responsible for the following:
Who we are looking for:
- You love banana bread just as much as we do
- You are friendly, fun, and enjoy engaging with new customers
- You are interested in learning more about Hawaii attractions, restaurants, and activities
- You are organized and clean up after yourself
- You can follow detailed instructions
- You are accountable and show up on time
- You have experience using a cash register and handling all forms of payment
- You have reliable transportation
Strongly preferred:
- Previous sales experience
- Personable and comfortable talking to new people
- Reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
- $16 per hour plus tips (you keep 100 percent of tips earned during your shift)

This is a part time position with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts. Preference is given to applicants who live close to Haleiwa.
We are an entrepreneurial team motivated to build the most delicious and fun banana bread brand on Oahu. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your interpersonal and communication skills while gaining firsthand experience in building a business.
