Commercial Thermal Inspection Sales Representative
Drone Institute AI has unlocked condition intelligence for the built world at scale. For commercial roofing and building-envelope buyers, we deliver thermal and visual inspection reports that turn condition into documented evidence — used to defend warranties, qualify re-roof work, support insurance claims, and prioritize CapEx with confidence.
We are hiring a Commercial Thermal Inspection Sales Representative to bring that capability to roofing contractors, coatings manufacturers, restoration firms, and the owners they serve.
What you'll do:
- Build and work a pipeline of commercial roofing contractors, manufacturer-warranty programs, restoration firms, and large building owners.
- Run live product walkthroughs that show how our thermal and visual deliverables impact commercial roofing contractors sales workflows.
- Scope, propose, and close engagements ranging from one-off inspections to recurring annual programs.
- Own the customer relationship from first conversation through first delivery and through renewal.
- Keep a clean, current pipeline in our CRM. Forecast accurately.
What we expect
- A self-directed seller who generates pipeline without being handed one.
- Phone, email, in-person — you use whichever channel the buyer prefers. Roofing is largely a phone and in-person business.
- Comfortable on a job site and comfortable in a boardroom.
- An honest read of every deal and willingness to say what isn't working.
- Coachability. The product and the motion evolve quickly.
What you bring
- Several years of B2B sales experience with a quota-carrying track record.
- Working knowledge of the commercial roofing, building envelope, restoration, or building-inspection space — enough to hold a conversation with an estimator, a project manager, or an executive.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- CRM discipline.
Helpful but not required:
- Prior experience at a roofing contractor, coatings manufacturer, building-services firm, insurance carrier, or aerial-inspection provider.
-Industry credentials (NRCA, RCI/IIBEC, etc.) are a plus.
What you'll get:
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Meaningful equity participation for early sales hires.
- Direct access to the founders and the product team.
- A clear path from individual contributor to building a team if you can lead effectively.
