High volume subrogation law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Post Judgement Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Manage post-judgment case files, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with procedural law requirements
- Assist with enforcement actions such as wage garnishments, bank levies, and property liens by preparing necessary legal documents and coordinating with relevant agencies
- Conduct thorough legal research on estate planning, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, and other relevant areas to support case strategies
- Review and analyze court orders, judgments, and related legal documents for accuracy and procedural adherence
- Maintain detailed records using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all case information is up-to-date and organized
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and third-party agencies regarding case status updates and procedural requirements
- Support litigation processes by preparing pleadings, drafting correspondence, proofreading legal documents, and managing deadlines
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of civil litigation law
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; ability to efficiently gather relevant case law and statutes
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills for managing large volumes of files; attention to detail in proofreading and transcription tasks
- Effective client communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette and confidentiality handling
- Ability to perform legal writing with clarity; drafting legal documents such as pleadings or enforcement notices accurately
- Strong research capabilities combined with familiarity in handling confidential information securely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document preparation and data entry; experience with document management systems for efficient workflow
Pay: $65,201.70 - $75,479.46 per year
