Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors, milkshakes and crepes with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST for processing sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders in a fast-paced environment, upselling additional treats or beverages to enhance sales.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sanitizing equipment, cleaning counters, and adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food handling duties such as scooping, serving, and ensuring proper food safety management throughout your shift.
- Support team members with bussing tables or cleaning up as needed to ensure a tidy environment for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; familiarity with quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly without compromising service quality.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred; experience in the food industry or café environment is beneficial.
- Must be energetic, friendly, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team setting.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
