Overview
- Provide leadership and oversight to the program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency policies and procedures.
- Participate in Life Plan meetings; develop Staff Action Plans (SAPs) for implementation.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with individuals supported.
- Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely billing in accordance with agency guidelines and OPWDD regulations.
- Ensure completion of daily billing, monthly progress reports, and attendance.
- Provide supervision to Direct Support Professional; complete annual evaluations.
- Collaborate with program management and Human Resources to manage the candidate selection workflow process.
- Collaborate in identifying potential candidates for admission, screening, and placement of individuals.
- Ensure reporting of all incidents, utilizing the chain of command; ensure notification to oversight agencies as per policy and procedure.
- Monitor payroll; ensure staff compliance with attendance requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Operating Officer
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic records and ensure all documentation is in compliance with OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (or related field) required.
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in person-centered planning, instructional methods, and progress tracking. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- License: A valid New York State driver’s license is required.
- Knowledge: Understanding of OPWDD regulations and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.31 - $29.27 per hour
