Duties
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble, seal, and prepare confectionery products for shipment
- Label all packaging appropriately, verify counts per box are 100% accurate, and boxes are sealed securely.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet safety standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Assist with accurate inventory records and stock replenishment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures during all packaging activities
- Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting using mechanical knowledge
- Support warehouse organization by stacking pallets, labeling packages, and ensuring a clean work environment
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus, though not required
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Familiarity with packaging processes within a food manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GMP standards to maintain product safety and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations
