Job Overview

Duties
- Develop detailed 3D models using BIM tools such as Revit to accurately represent Electrical systems
- Create construction detail documentation and schematics that meet project specifications and building code requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design intent into BIM models, ensuring coordination across disciplines
- Utilize CAD software including AutoCAD for drafting and graphic presentation purposes
- Support construction phase activities by providing accurate 3D CAD modeling and BIM data for on-site implementation
- Perform quality control checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards
Experience
- Proven experience working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools such as Revit or a similar software
- Strong background in construction detail documentation and drafting within architectural or engineering projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of building code analysis and ensuring design compliance with local regulations
- Experience with CAD software including AutoCAD and other relevant platforms for 2D/3D modeling and graphic design
- Familiarity with system design processes for both architectural and engineering applications
- Prior involvement in construction projects providing practical insights into construction processes and building systems
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents effectively
