Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly with a lively and engaging attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while handling cash register operations with precision
- Prepare simple food items following safety standards and quality guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining space, and service counters
- Assist in food handling tasks such as bussing tables, refilling supplies, and ensuring sanitation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation shifts
- Manage customer inquiries promptly, resolving issues with professionalism and a positive attitude
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail sales math
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between stations, and work efficiently during busy hours
- Food safety awareness and proper handling techniques are essential for maintaining health standards
- Experience with food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is advantageous but not mandatory
- A proactive approach to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
