Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist in the state
- Experience conducting IEP evaluations, delivering related services, and supporting diverse learning needs
- Proficiency with problem-solving processes, collaborating with Student Intervention Teams, and participating in Building Crisis Teams
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting students across elementary and middle school age ranges
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, direct student support, counseling, and consultation with staff and parents
- Actively contribute to problem-solving processes and serve on building-level teams focused on intervention and crisis response
- Guide the development and implementation of IEPs, ensuring regulatory compliance and individualized support
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote successful student outcomes
- Foster a supportive and safe learning environment in both elementary and middle school settings
