Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting a critical call center environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: 550 Veterans United Dr. Columbia, MO 65301
Pay Range: $27 per hour
What's the Job?
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting at least 50 lbs, walking, standing, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Experience with analyzing information and applying standard practices to solve problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with a curious and proactive mindset.
