Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Associate to join our growing metal distribution team. In this role, you will focus on inside sales, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will act as the primary point of contact for contractors, manufacturers, and industrial buyers seeking high-quality metal products/raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate accurate price quotes and technical bids for clients.
- Respond promptly to inbound sales calls, emails, and walk-ins.
- Manage order entries from placement to final customer delivery.
- Negotiate pricing and lead times to close profitable deals.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to verify stock availability.
- Resolve customer issues regarding orders, billing, or material specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of inside sales or customer service experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience selling copper and copper based metals is highly preferred.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
