As a Tour and Travel Logistics and Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of a series of pre-sold tours for groups of 40 or more people traveling to any one of 35 locations in the United States and Canada. This includes hotels, restaurants, guided tours, shows, etc. You will be trained by seasoned Senior Managers to then be assigned your own set of trips for which you will be responsible to manage.
Preferred Candidates:
- Have three or more consecutive years with the same employer.
- Have experience in Hospitality or customer service, but we will consider any candidate who is invested in providing good customer service while effectively executing tour planning responsibilities
- College degree preferred.
- Are intelligent, friendly, and able to multitask
- Are able to understand routing (mapping) and have strong logistical analysis skills
- Are eager to learn
- Are interested in doing work that is important-our work makes a difference in the world!
- Have an excellent work ethic and are interested in maximizing their income by effectively managing relationships and meeting deadlines
What the Job Entails:
- Inventory analysis, state-to-state logistics for mapping of motorcoach groups.
- Communication via phone and/or email with group leaders of multi-day bus tours.
- Contacting vendors, hotels, meals, etc via phone and/or email.
This is an in-office, non-remote position. No traveling is required.
Office hours 9 AM to 6 PM Monday to Friday. Expect to work some evenings or weekends to meet deadlines during the busy season (June through October). Your bonus compensation is based on the execution of your assigned tours.
