Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest experience
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs and handling credit card payments securely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food service duties during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of beverage ingredients, brewing processes, wine varieties, and mixology techniques
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent customer satisfaction
- Uphold all food safety regulations and proper handling procedures for food and beverages
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing
- Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Prior fine dining or restaurant experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Experience with bar management or hospitality industry roles that involve serving alcohol responsibly
- Familiarity with food industry standards related to alcohol service, including responsible beverage service practices
