We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team at VigorCare Pediatric Services. The Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, patients, and visitors. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Los Angeles, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all individuals on our premises
- Monitor security cameras and alarms, and respond to any security incidents
- Train and educate staff on security protocols and emergency procedures
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Investigate and report any security breaches or incidents
- Conduct background checks on new employees and contractors
- Maintain and update key and access control systems
- Conduct regular audits of security systems and equipment
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in security technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
