Position Overview: As a Collision Body Technician, you will play a critical role in restoring luxury vehicles to pre-accident condition by following OEM repair procedures and utilizing advanced repair techniques. You will perform structural and non-structural repairs while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and quality.
The ideal candidate is committed to doing repairs correctly—not simply quickly—and understands the importance of proper vehicle repairs in protecting customer safety and preserving manufacturer performance standards. You are a team player with a passion for learning, growing, and continuously improving your skills.
Compensation: Negotiated at the time of hire based on experience and qualifications. This is a flat-rate (flag hour) position.

Responsibilities:

Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs according to OEM repair procedures.

Repair or replace damaged body panels, structural components, and related vehicle systems.

Utilize measuring systems, frame equipment, welders, riveting systems, and specialty tools to complete repairs accurately.

Follow repair plans and collaborate with estimators, repair planners, production managers, painters, and calibration technicians.

Document repair procedures and communicate and additional damage or repair needs discovered during the repair process.

Verify repairs meet manufacturer specifications and company quality standards before moving vehicles to the next production stage.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Properly care for shop equipment and specialty repair tools.

Assisting, mentoring apprentices and supporting the development of future technicians.

Participate in ongoing training related to OEM repair procedures, vehicle technology, structural repair methods, welding, riveting, ADAS systems, EV repair, and workplace safety.

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by applying new repair techniques and manufacturer updates learned through training.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous collision repair experience required.

Current I-CAR Platinum recognition is strongly preferred. Candidates who are not currently Platinum must be willing to achieve and maintain I-CAR Platinum status.

Willingness to complete ongoing I-CAR, ASE, OEM manufacturer, and dealership-required training throughout employment.

Experience performing structural and non-structural collision repairs.

Ability to read and interpret repair plans and OEM repair procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing safe, high-quality repairs.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
