Job Overview
Hi! We are Healthy Roots Therapy and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and be skilled in various therapeutic modalities. We work independently, crafting our own schedules to fit our lives! We have quarterly lunches to case consult and catch up on sharing the latest educational resources.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Deliver individual counseling sessions, focusing on issues such as PTSD, addiction, and grief
- Implement behavior management strategies and behavioral modification techniques to support clients in turmoil.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards (ICD-9 & ICD-10).
- Engage in telehealth sessions as needed to accommodate client preferences and accessibility.
- Collaborate when needed with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and case management effectively.
- Stay informed about current trends in behavioral health, including art therapy, dance therapy, applied behavior analysis, and psychopharmacology.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LMSW)
- Experience working with couples and families is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
