Salary Range: $110,400-$171,200

Credit Analyst Underwriter IV is a highly experienced credit professional responsible for independently analyzing, underwriting, and monitoring the Bank's most complex commercial credit relationships. The position serves as a subject matter expert, providing advanced credit analysis, risk assessment, loan structuring recommendations, and portfolio management support while ensuring adherence to Bank policy, regulatory requirements, and prudent banking practices. This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility but is expected to demonstrate leadership through technical expertise, collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and influence..
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, underwrite, and present complex commercial loan requests, renewals, modifications, and annual reviews.
- Identify, assess, and communicate credit risks while recommending appropriate loan structures, terms, covenants, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolios, including financial performance, covenant compliance, risk ratings, and emerging credit concerns.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for complex commercial relationships, specialized industries, and advanced credit structures.
- Participate in the enhancement of credit policies, underwriting standards, and portfolio management practices.
- Lead or support special projects, loan review activities, audits, and regulatory examinations.
- Expertise in credit risk analysis and underwriting, with the ability to navigate complex challenges effectively.

Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex commercial credit relationships and providing well-supported underwriting recommendations.

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present credit recommendations and provide guidance to lenders and junior analysts. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the capability of influencing across departments and organizational levels.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Completion of advanced commercial credit training programs, banking schools, or professional certifications is preferred.

Minimum of eight to ten years of progressively responsible commercial credit analysis and underwriting experience, including significant experience analyzing complex commercial relationship
