Ide Family of Dealerships is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Center Representative (BDC) to join our team at Ide Honda in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will drive business growth through effective customer relationship management and strategic outreach. You will engage with potential clients, identify opportunities, and use CRM software such as Tekion or Salesforce to track leads and manage customer interactions. This position requires strong sales acumen and the ability to build relationships that turn leads into loyal customers.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and in-person to generate leads and build relationships
- Track leads, manage customer data, and report on sales activity using CRM software
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records within the CRM system
- Support project management tasks to ensure timely delivery of services
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or business development, automotive industry a plus
- Familiarity with CRM software (Tekion, Salesforce or similar) highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays; 38 - 42 hours per week
