Mapleton, Caribou & Surrounding Area- Route Sales Representative
Maine Distributors is seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Route Sales Representative serving the Greater Caribou and surrounding Aroostook County areas.
Maine Distributors is a family-owned beverage wholesaler that has proudly serviced eastern and northern Maine since 1964. We distribute a wide variety of beer, wine, water, soda, energy drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts throughout our territory.Our portfolio includes many recognizable brands and suppliers such as Anheuser-Busch, Orono Brewing Company, Gallo, Polar Beverage, Sparkling Ice, Keurig Dr. Pepper, and many others.
Sales skill, product knowledge, and route management training will be a focus. Employees will receive continued support from team leads, management, as well as field work with suppliers. A working knowledge of wine will be beneficial.
Work schedule for this position will be full-time Monday - Friday.
Requirements for this job:
Clean Driver record
Live in greater Bangor area
Able to lift up to 40lbs. repetitively
Possess strong communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to:
Selling new and existing products on an assigned route list to on/off-premise accounts
Hitting monthly sales goals, focus initiatives and incentives
Maintain long-standing business relationships and growing new ones
Building, changing and pricing product displays
Attending monthly sales meetings to learn new products, pricing and goals
Work with a team lead during routine ride-alongs to execute objectives
