We are hiring a full-time Customer Service Associate in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional and timely support to customers, addressing inquiries, and helping ensure a positive customer experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Customer Service Associate Tasks & Duties:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner
- Process customer transactions, including purchases and new account setup
- Enter, track, and maintain accurate customer information and order details
- Handle customer concerns and escalations with professionalism and care
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support customer needs
- Assist with order processing, including purchase orders and coordination of materials

Customer Service Associate Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of customer service, sales support, or related experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus
