Group Homes for Children is hiring dependable, part-time Overnight Staff for Friday and Saturday nights. This is a calm, structured overnight role in a licensed group home where teens are typically asleep, the pace is steady, and expectations are clear.
Important Note
This is not a sleeping position. Staff must remain awake, alert, and available throughout the entire shift.
Position Overview
Overnight Staff provide supervision and support in a group home serving teenage girls ages 10–18. Your primary responsibility is ensuring safety and maintaining a peaceful environment during sleeping hours, while completing routine tasks and documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise up to 7–8 residents overnight
- Maintain a safe, quiet, and orderly environment
- Respond appropriately to any overnight needs
- Complete light cleaning and organization tasks
- Prepare simple meals and follow nightly routines
- Administer medications per training and policy
- Transport residents in company-owned vehicles when required
- Complete required logs and written documentation
- Follow all policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards

What We’re Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (no felony convictions)
- Physically able to climb two flights of stairs multiple times per shift
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable staying awake overnight
- Team-oriented, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality
Training & Pay
- Paid training provided, including Trauma-Informed Care, CPR, and First Aid
- Pay: $15.00 per hour
- Hours: Approximately 8-24 hours per week
