Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and genetic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide treatment services to children ages 0–21
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home programs
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Complete documentation in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with physicians, educators, caregivers, and therapy team members
- Maintain a safe and engaging treatment environment
- Participate in continuing education and clinic initiatives
Requirements
- Current New Mexico Physical Therapy license
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
