Job Summary
The Assembly/Production Line Operator is responsible for performing a variety of tasks on a automotive production line within a Tier 1 manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling components, operating machinery, and ensuring that products meet strict quality and safety standards required by automotive customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble automotive parts and components according to standardized work instructions and engineering specifications.

Operate and monitor production line equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively

Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards

Identify and report defects, malfunctions, or process deviations promptly

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with lean manufacturing principles.

Follow all safety procedures, policies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements

Meet or exceed daily production targets and efficiency metrics

Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve issues and improve processes

Organize inventory

Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest equipment and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

One year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
