Key Details:
Pay: $18-19.50 hourly rate (DOE) + $4-5/hour in tips on average

Schedule:
- 6AM-2:30PM, Friday-Tuesday shifts.
Responsibilities: This position serves an important role in the business, creating and decorating our signature scratch-made quality baked goods for our retail bakery, special event orders and weddings.
A typical shift may include:
- Baking off and decorating daily items to fill our retail pastry case.
- Scratch baking and decorating of large batches of product for retail, wholesale, event and wedding sales (such as cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bars, pies, ice cream, breakfast pastries, cheesecakes, filings, buttercreams, sauces, and more).
- Decorating cakes (with buttercream) for weddings, birthdays and event orders.
- Ensuring product sold meets quality standards.
- Opening and closing the kitchen using checklists, performing stocking, cleaning and dishwashing duties.
- Following strict safety and sanitation protocols, along with all company policies.
- Supporting other team members.
- Putting away deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: We look for employees who can communicate well and be kind to others, work efficiently and responsibly, and take pride and ownership in playing their part in the success of our small business. Other requirements include:
- Current Oregon Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain one).
- High volume baking and cake decorating experience (minimum 1 year).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Ability to learn how to make a large variety of product to meet quality standards.
- Ability to work autonomously or in teams.
- Ability to perform all job duties listed above with reliable attendance.
