Responsibilities:
- Upholster furniture pieces according to customer specifications
-- Attach upholstery covers to furniture frames using hand tools and power tools
- Install padding, springs, and other materials to provide comfort and support.- Must be able to do brass nail.
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- SEEKING QUALIFIED EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES ONLY. ONLY candidates with upholstered furniture manufacturing experience will be contacted.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer with experience in one of the following operations: arms, backs, first trim for sofas, loveseats, chairs, ottomans and benches.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for upholstery work
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics, materials, and their appropriate uses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Physical dexterity and strength for lifting heavy furniture pieces
This job is on a production line at a furniture manufacturing plant.
