We are seeking experienced and passionate line cooks to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to our restaurant's standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This is a seasonal position and we are just looking for a little extra help through the fall.

Responsibilities:
1.Set up and stock your assigned station with the necessary ingredients, equipment, and supplies, ensuring everything is properly prepared for efficient service.
2.Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
3.Cook dishes using a variety of techniques, including frying, ensuring proper cooking temperatures and times are followed.
4.Coordinate with other line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders, adapting to any special requests or dietary needs.
5.Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards at all times.
6.Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
7.Assist with the setup and breakdown of cooking stations, ensuring equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly.
8.Comply with all food safety regulations, local health department guidelines, and restaurant policies.
9.Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional kitchen environment.
10.Complete additional tasks as assigned by management, which may include assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, or general cleaning duties.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Proven experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
-Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized recipes.
-Excellent cooking skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment.
-Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.
-Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
