Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Pay Rate:
- CHOICES Clients: $17.00 per hour
- VA Clients: $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN
Location: Nashville, TN and surrounding areas
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide quality in-home care and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and help improve their overall quality of life while allowing them to remain safely in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, and tidying living spaces
- Assist with medication reminders
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Follow individualized care plans and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, CNA, DSP, home health, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
