Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who seek to build opportunities with homeowners who qualify for hail damage on their homes. As a canvasser, you will be responsible for connecting with homeowners and developing warm leads for Project Managers who will assist in providing services that include roof restoration, windows, siding, gutters, and energy solutions such as solar.
A Day In The Life:

In office by 2pm and in the field by 3 pm
Project manger takes you to your designated area that you're going to knock for the day.
Start knocking doors while logging the data on your phone app.
Enter data on your phone app that saves the type of building materials on the property.
Talk to property owners and get leads.
Send those leads to your manager.
It's 8pm.
You call your manager and have them pick you up. Give your Project Manger a run down on how your day was and any leads you got.
You have the potential to make hundreds of dollars for 4 hours of work.
Sleep well and know you'll be okay.

Canvassing and lead generation is an easy job that you have to work hard at. The reason you make money for it is because it's hard but it's also one of the safest professions and most lucrative jobs in existence because it's hard. If it were easy everyone would do it and people would be banging down the door to get the job. The flexibility and money potential are unmatched making this a great part time job. If you want to make a large amount of money for doing a very rewarding but difficult job you should try.
Job Duties & Expectations:
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and around Frederick, MD
- Availability for afternoon/evening shifts (and Saturday when scheduled)
- Comfort working outdoors and speaking with homeowners door-to-door
- Ability to use a smartphone app for route and lead tracking
- Professional, friendly communication
- Ability to get 1 lead per day
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Work 15 hours minimum (3-6 days a week)
Preferred:
- Prior canvassing, retail, customer service, fundraising, or appointment-setting experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish.

Location & Time Commitment:
- As a Canvasser, you'll be maximizing your earning potential in the afternoons and evenings from 3 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, reach homeowners during prime time and join the team for a half day from 9 am to 2:30 pm.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage with homeowners in a professional and friendly manner
- Reliable transportation to travel between canvassing locations
- Previous experience in canvassing or sales is a plus
Hours and Pay:
- Daily Pay: $20/hr. with 5 hours maximum per day for a total of $100/day
- Days Worked: 6
- Leads Per Day: 2
- Commission Per Pitched Lead: $50.00
- Base + Commission Theoretical $1,200.00 / 30 hours = $40/hour if you are decent at the job
