We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to fully manage the tax and accounting lifecycle for our diverse Book of Business (BOB), spanning both high-net-worth individual clients and corporate entities.
Position Overview
As our Senior Accountant, you won’t just be crunching numbers—you will be a trusted advisor to our clients. You will manage a dedicated book of business, handling everything from day-to-day corporate accounting to strategic, year-round tax planning and annual filings. This role requires a blend of sharp technical tax expertise, robust accounting knowledge, and exceptional client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities:
*Corporate Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounting for corporate clients within your assigned book of business.
- Conduct regular financial statement preparation, review, and analysis (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow).
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and ensure GAAP compliance across all corporate structures.
* Tax Strategy, Planning & Preparation
- Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate clients (S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships/LLCs) and individuals.
- Proactively design and implement year-round tax mitigation strategies tailored to each client's unique financial situation.
- Stay ahead of changing tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advisory services to clients.
*Client Relationship & Book Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for accounting and tax inquiries within your BOB.
- Conduct consultative financial reviews with clients to explain complex financial data and tax implications in plain English.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the broader Khirfan Benefits team to ensure clients' overall financial and benefits strategy aligns perfectly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Credential: Active CPA license is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3–7+ years of public accounting experience, with a proven track record of managing both individual (Form 1040) and corporate (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065) tax returns is preferred. Minimum 3 years required.
- Software Tech Stack:
- QuickBooks: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Highly proficient, with expert-level Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling).
- CRM Software: Familiarity with wealth management and financial CRM systems, specifically Redtail CRM, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with professional tax preparation software such as INTUIT
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong, long-term trust with clients.
- Attributes: High autonomy, impeccable organizational skills, and the capacity to balance priorities during peak tax seasons.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
