Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure optimal performance of their HVAC systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Duties
- Maintain and repair air conditioning units and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assess system performance and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems.
- Document service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems.
Minimum qualifications
- EPA Certification
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1+ years experience as an HVAC technician.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- STRONG TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Company will run a background check, a motor vehicle report and drug test.
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, Tech frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 40 lbs. Tech may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands and have the ability to climb ladders.
