Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Event Staff to join our team for a 4 day festival in Royal Oak, Michigan, September 4th-7th. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, this role is perfect for you. Pay rate is $15 per hour, payday is approx 2 weeks after the event via direct deposit-No cash app, chime, venmo or 3rd party direct deposits. Position is a 10-99 subcontractor. You must wear all black. Shorts are ok but must be "cargo", or "dickie" type. NO jeans, yoga pants, sweats or leggings. Shoes must be all black-tennis shoes are recommended. We will provide a staff polo shirt.
Dates and Shifts:
Friday 9/4/26 - 10:30am-11:30pm (13 hours approx)
Saturday 9/5/26 - 10:30am-11:30pm (13 hours approx)
Sunday 9/6/26 - 10:30am-11:30pm (13 hours approx)
Monday 9/7/24 - 10:30am-9:30pm (11 hours approx)
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service throughout the event.
- Checking patrons for unauthorized items that are not allowed in the festival.
- Ensure the safety of all guests while "standing a post" following security protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
Requirements
-MUST be able to pass a background check-NO felonies.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift. (Some posts allow sitting).
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various guest interactions.
- Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions-rain or shine.
-Event Security experience a plus!
