We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Front Counter / Production Assistants to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be greeting customers, managing service transactions, and supporting our technicians. Duties include vehicle positioning, test drive, repairs, and data entry.
We are a multi location, locally owned and operated, systems and processes driven business. Founded in 1978.
Must currently reside within a 25 minute commute of zip code 27401. Automotive service center experience needed.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with check-in, service explanations, and vehicle drop-off or pickup
- Discuss additional services and maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle condition
- Prepare accurate estimates using automotive estimating software and communicate repair options clearly
- Support technicians with vehicle service and materials sourcing as needed
- Handle transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate details
- Assist with service writing, ensuring detailed documentation of repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized overall shop area and ensure all customer interactions are professional and positive
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, suspension, shocks & struts, tire service, and fluid maintenance.
- Experience with estimating software and auto service management systems
- Present suggested services confidently while maintaining integrity and client trust
- Basic computer skills for service writing and client communication
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate a manual shift vehicle needed.

Pay: $21.50 - $32.00 per hour
