Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and diesel engines using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and alignments.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to identify issues quickly and develop effective repair strategies.
- Service European vehicles vehicle maintenance, and electrical systems to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate repairs accurately using auto estimating software while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain detailed service records, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure all work complies with industry standards for automotive repair.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair environment is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation, vehicle diagnostics tools, ADAS calibration procedures, and auto estimating software.
- Experience working with European vehicles brands is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as a diagnosis and general mechanical repairs efficiently.
- Excellent skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $38.00 per hour
