Job Summary
A Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) provides school-based speech and language therapy services to students in grades K–12. This role focuses on improving communication, language development, and classroom participation through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students (K–12)
- Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
- Complete required documentation, including:
- Progress notes
- Data collection
- IEP updates and annual reviews
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Perform case management duties when assigned
- Provide AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) consultation as needed
- Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- CCC-SLP (ASHA Certification) required
- Active Pennsylvania SLP License
- Valid Educational/Instructional Certificate (PA)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
