Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and experience in meal preparation within a fine dining or food service environment. Experience in cooking is a must.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Help with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in meal preparation for fine dining establishments.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods, with a keen eye for detail in presentation.
