Job Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, transfers, balance, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately and in accordance with facility requirements.
- Follow facility policies and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Active PTA license eligible to work in Maine
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, SNF, or long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to commit to the full contract assignment
