The opportunity
We're looking for a Global Payroll Manager to join our HR team at Envision Pharma Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of global payrolls.
The Global Payroll Manager ensures payroll processing adheres to federal, state, and local requirements, maintains strong internal controls, and partners closely with Total Rewards, HR, and Finance to keep payroll accurate and audit-ready. This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone who wants deep ownership of the US payroll function while gaining exposure to global payroll operations.
We're open to candidates applying from either the US or UK; however, advanced experience with US payroll is an essential requirement.
How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?
Role responsibilities
- Own and administer end-to-end US payroll processing in ADP, including regular and off-cycle payroll runs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Prepare, validate, and process payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, leave of absence, garnishments, benefits deductions, tax withholdings, and other payroll changes.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries promptly, escalating complex or high-risk issues where appropriate.
- Prepare and support periodic and annual US payroll and tax reporting, including W-2s, W-4s, 401(k) reporting, and responses to agency notices.
- Ensure accurate administration of statutory and benefits-related deductions, including 401(k), benefits-in-kind, pension contributions, and garnishments.
- Coordinate international payroll inputs with in-country payroll bureaus and providers, ensuring accurate and timely submission of new hires, terminations, employee changes, and benefits data.
- Manage data collection and submissions for international statutory reporting requirements, including P60s, P11Ds, annual tax filings, and equivalent in-country returns.
- Partner with international providers and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and maintain accurate payroll documentation and submission calendars.
- Work closely with Finance on payroll reconciliations, funding, disbursements, and intercompany payroll cost recharges, ensuring payrolls are completed and reconciled in line with internal controls.
- Monitor changes to payroll legislation and regulations, updating processes and documentation as required.
- Review payroll processes and controls, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across global payroll operations.
- Lead the response to internal and external audits, providing accurate payroll data, documentation, and analysis as required.
- Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and Finance to ensure payroll practices align with company policies and programmes.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted point of contact for payroll queries from employees and managers.
- Own the global payroll inbox, ensuring queries are triaged, tracked, and resolved accurately within agreed service levels.
- Support business continuity through clear, up-to-date payroll processes and documentation.
