The Hybrid Home+School division is seeking a highly qualified 9th-12th Grade Mathematics Teacher to join a collaborative faculty dedicated to developing students’ logical reasoning and analytical skills through a biblical lens. The ideal candidate will be proficient in delivering a comprehensive math curriculum, ranging from foundational Algebra I and Geometry to advanced tracks including Pre-Calculus. We are looking for an educator who can seamlessly integrate technology and project-based learning to illustrate real-world applications of mathematical concepts. The successful candidate must be able to differentiate instruction for varying levels, fostering a classroom environment that emphasizes critical thinking, proof-based logic, and the preparation of students for rigorous college-level mathematics.
The Hybrid Home+School division of The First Academy offers a part-time educational program for students in grades 7-12, featuring in-person instruction four days per week. As a faculty member in this 10-month position (running from August through May), workdays will be Monday through Thursday, allowing faculty to serve two comparable student cohorts: one following a Monday and Wednesday Model, and another on a Tuesday and Thursday Model. In this hybrid homeschool model, faculty will provide direct, in-person instruction to each cohort for two days a week. For the remaining days, faculty will be responsible for designing and assigning structured lessons and coursework for students to complete at home, bridging the classroom experience with independent, parent-guided learning.
