POSITION SUMMARY:
St. Elizabeth School is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented IEP Technician to serve as the primary coordinator of the administrative and technical functions supporting the School's Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. Working collaboratively with the IEP Coordinator and multidisciplinary team, this position is responsible for coordinating IEP workflow, maintaining accurate student records, monitoring compliance with special education timelines, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring the timely preparation and processing of all required IEP documentation.
The successful candidate will exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and work independently in a fast-paced educational environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; or
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge and skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing high-level administrative or project coordination support.
- Experience working with confidential student or personnel records preferred.
- Previous experience in a special education or school environment strongly encouraged.

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to operate a personal or school vehicle for school business.
- Successful completion of required criminal background screening and pre-employment drug screening.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Exercise independent judgment in determining the completeness of student files, identifying documentation deficiencies, prioritizing workflow, and coordinating the timely completion of IEP records and required reports.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local special education timelines and procedural requirements by maintaining accurate records, identifying potential compliance concerns, and communicating proactively with the IEP Coordinator to help ensure deadlines are met.
- Review, edit, and quality-check draft IEPs, evaluations, and related reports prepared by occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, teachers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure completeness, compliance with School standards, and readiness for IEP meetings. Coordinate with clinicians to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing documentation.
- Coordinate the flow of information among teachers, related service providers, administrators, parents, and school districts while maintaining accurate student records and ensuring the integrity of IEP documentation and data.
- Coordinate and maintain the annual IEP meeting calendar, schedule meetings, prepare required documentation, and communicate professionally with families, staff, school districts, and outside service providers.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents related to special education services while maintaining strict confidentiality of student information.
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and other projects supporting the School's special education program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IEP Coordinator or School Administration.

Pay: $36,400.00 - $46,800.00 per year
