Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that water supply, drainage, and related systems are functioning efficiently and safely, adhering to all local building codes and safety standards. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
- Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform pipe threading, fitting, soldering, welding, and assembly of plumbing components according to specifications.
- Maintain water systems by troubleshooting leaks, blockages, or malfunctions; perform routine system inspections and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with construction teams including carpenters and HVAC specialists to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work; adhere strictly to safety protocols on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and maintenance in commercial or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to water systems and plumbing safety standards.
- Experience working on construction sites with the ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; understanding of carpentry principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or handyman experience is advantageous for versatile project support.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access; ability to travel between multiple job sites as required.
