Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests’ tables.
- Support food preparation and plating as needed to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing utensils and condiments.
- Handle food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Uphold excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly, responding promptly to requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards is highly valued.
- Prior work in hospitality settings like hotels or catering events can provide a strong foundation for success.
