Business Analyst - Mid-Level - Job Description:
This role is focused on client retention and negotiated offers within our financial client's Investor Services/Client Experience. The Business Analyst will work on providing objective, consistent, and equitable pricing solutions for high-value, price-sensitive clients through data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Business Analyst - Mid-Level - Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial client's IS negotiated pricing reviews and approvals, including commissions, margin, and managed investing asset-based fees.
- Gather and interpret client financial and behavioral data to conduct profitability analysis.
- Frequently interact with VPs and above regarding pricing decisions and escalations.
- Partner with various departments to provide insights on pricing initiatives.
- Construct complex pricing packages for high-value clients and prospects.
- Educate and guide field partners on client profitability and competitive positioning.
- Act as a point of escalation for requests exceeding field empowerment guidelines.
Business Analyst - Mid-Level - Mandatory Skills:
- Series 7 & 63 required.
- 3+ years experience in brokerage or financial services industry.
- Strong working knowledge of internal systems and tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management skills in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Business Analyst - Mid-Level – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bachelors degree highly preferred.
- Highly developed negotiation and critical thinking skills.
- Proven effectiveness in building relationships with partners.
- Positive attitude of service and initiative.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and profitability analysis.
