Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) - Pediatric Critical Care - Chicago, IL. This local assignment requires a minimum of two years of recent acute care Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience, specifically in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), and Critical Care Units (CCU). The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a schedule that includes every other weekend. Candidates must possess current BLS, PALS, NRP (for NICU assignments), and Illinois RRT licenses, which are required to be submitted at the time of application.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and experience: BLS, PALS, NRP (for NICU), Illinois RRT license; 2+ years of pediatric acute care Pediatric RRT experience in PICU/NICU/CCU, recent within the current year.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Requirements: Recent Pediatric RRT experience in acute care settings, ability to work across designated areas including NICU, CCU, PICU, and acute care floors.
- Additional information: Orientation sessions held every Monday. Dress code is scrubs in any color, with a kid-friendly ratio based on points system. EMR system used is EPIC.
