In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing laundry services, maintaining sanitation standards, and handling materials with care. Responsibilities
- Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens, uniforms, and guest clothing.
- Handle laundry detergents and cleaning agents safely, adhering to all safety standards in production.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other materials handling tools while practicing proper manual handling techniques.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of laundry areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Assist with the collection and distribution of laundry items across hotel departments or designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections of textiles for damage or stains and notify supervisors for special cleaning needs like dry cleaning.
- Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to requests for laundry services or special garment care instructions.
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with textile cleaning processes including laundry washing, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently throughout shifts.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to sanitation, chemical handling, and industrial equipment operation.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
