DESCRIPTION: Become a valued trade partner as an employee in our innovative team! Looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is proficient in providing young children, adolescent and adult individual, couples and family therapy. As seasoned professionals we are looking for other seasoned professionals that are able to assess client and family needs, evaluate, coordinate and ensure necessary services to facilitate better balanced health and wellness.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
- (Required) Therapist/Counselors for young children.
- (Preferred) Therapist/Counselors who can do couples' therapy
- (Preferred) Knowledge and skills in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression.
- (Preferred) Open to collaborate with diverse professionals like Counselors, PMHNP, and Chiropractors.
- Provides therapy and EMR notes in accordance with acceptable standards of care.
- Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
- Desires a Fun work environment and will represent Green Wave in a professional manner within the community.
- Maintain credentials (License, professional insurance and CEUs).
- Has a theoretical compatibility to our mission at Green Wave Family Wellness Center. To facilitate better balanced health and wellness across the lifespan through a coordinated effort by a diversified group of professionals using the latest advancements in an efficient and caring way.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work or Psychology.
- Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.
- Must have two years or more of licensed professional experience providing services to adults, adolescents and/or children.
Schedule:
- Green Wave is open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday. Currently, we have a Waiting List of pediatric patients seeking counseling immediately that will support the new hire’s case load quickly. We utilize both Telehealth and Face To Face options.
