The Goddard School, an early childhood education center, is located in Wilmington, DE, and is currently seeking a qualified Lead Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards
- Writing and implementing their lesson plans based on Delaware state and The Goddard Developmental Guidelines
- Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- An associates degree or CDA credential
- A nurturing teaching style and team player attitude
- TECE 1 and TECE 2
- Early Childhood Teacher Certificate from Department of Education
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
